Import and Export licensing of Livestock

Animal Health license the movement of animals involved in long-distance transport, and license exports and facilitate imports. To protect GB from the import of disease Animal Health inspect imported livestock, poultry and other animals to ensure they are disease-free and keeps track of where they are transported so they can be traced if necessary.
